Elva Trill

Elva Trill, a talented and charismatic actor, has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide with her remarkable performances and undeniable screen presence. Born on July 9, 1981, in Dublin, Ireland, Trill embarked on a journey that would lead her to become one of the most promising actors of her generation.

Growing up in a creative household, she was exposed to a wide range of artistic expression, which fueled her passion for acting. As a young child Elva says she was inspired to take up acting acting after seeing Sean McGinley on stage (Ironically, Wait for Me is the first time she has appeared on screen alongside the legendary Irish actor, who plays her father Ged).  Recognizing her talent, Trill’s mother encouraged her to pursue her dreams and enrolled her in drama classes at a local theatre academy. 

Trill’s dedication and commitment to her craft quickly became evident as she honed her skills and immersed herself in the world of theatre. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, she studied acting techniques, delving into the works of renowned playwrights and attending masterclasses led by seasoned professionals. Her determination paid off when she landed her first role in a local production, marking the beginning of her illustrious acting career.

Throughout the early years of her career, Trill made a name for herself in the theatre scene, earning critical acclaim for her captivating performances. Her ability to effortlessly embody a wide range of characters, from vulnerable and introspective to fierce and commanding, showcased her versatility as an actor. Trill’s magnetic stage presence and her remarkable ability to captivate audiences drew the attention of industry insiders, propelling her into the world of film and television.

Slowly building up her credits on the small screen, in 2013, Trill made her silver screen debut in a breakout role in an independent film, “How to be Happy”, where she portrayed a complex and emotionally charged character. Her nuanced performance caught the attention of both critics and audiences, earning her accolades and establishing her as a rising star. From that point on, Trill’s career gained momentum, and she quickly became one of the most sought-after actors in the industry.

Trill is best known for her roles in the BBC series “Line of Duty” and “Starstruck” and the Irish series “Red Rock”. Throughout Elva’s career, she has landed a variety of roles in TV series and films. Trill recently appeared in the final installment of the Jurassic Park film series “Jurassic World Dominion”. She is now starring in “Wait For Me” as the character Karen.
